Export Service Support

A vacancy has arisen for an Export Service Support individual based at AVK Manufacturing Limited in Hyde, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The main purpose of the role will be to act as the main point of contact within the AVK export companies (AVK Valvulas, AVK France and AVK Belgium), to provide service support, and develop a feeder factory approach to AVK Manufacturing meant for export sales.

Main responsibilities include accurately processing all export sales orders and quotations, expediting sales forecasts, providing packing list information, compiling reports and responding to telephone and e-mail enquiries.

The successful applicant should be computer literate, self motivated, able to work on own initiative and be technically competent in all product and related equipment. Customer skills are required, as would relevant experience in a similar role. You are also required to have excellent communication skills to work with a range of internal colleagues and external customers.

Design Engineer

Donkin are the market leader in Gas Valve manufacturing and are seeking to recruit a Design Engineer to join our Technical Department, reporting to the Technical Manager. The position will be based at our purpose built ultra modern facility in Staveley Chesterfield.

The successful applicant will be involved with designing existing/new innovative products on time, at the required cost and to the required standards, directives and approvals. To be responsible for creating the logical numbering system, produce drawings to AVK Group standard and to assist in the setting up of the supply chain for new products.

Experience of CAD is essential, Catia would be beneficial as would a background in a similar role.
