AVK DONKIN - CHESTERFIELD
MASTER PRODUCTION SCHEDULER - reporting to the Managing Director
The main purpose of the role will be to develop and implement best practice supply chain and logistics throughout AVK UK manufacturing, to ensure that high customer service targets are consistently achieved. A very hands-on position co-ordinating sales forecast requirements into the manufacturing companies, running and interpreting the MRP, ensuring component supply meets customer demand, enhancing service levels and optimising stock levels.
The successful applicant will be qualified to degree level, be a hands-on supply chain management professional who is well used to the demands of a fast moving, price and quality conscious industry. Ideally having experience of global suppliers and logistics.
MANUFACTURING FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - reporting to the Managing Director
The main purpose of the role will be to produce accurate financial statements, manage accounting entries for cost of sales, variances, inventory movement and inventory provisions. Producing monthly management reports including material and labour variances comparing actual against budget/forecast. The day to day control of the finance function to ensure the accurate and timely provision of all financial information as required by law and by local/group management. To perform all the duties required of a Company Secretary. The successful applicant will hold a recognized accounts based qualification along with experience of manufacturing costing and computerised accounting systems.
